Privacy Policy
Kade is built so your business data stays on your own PCs. This page explains the little we do keep, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

The short version
- Your sales, stock, customers and accounts live on your own PCs. We never receive them unless you choose to send them to us for support.
- When you download Kade, buy a licence or write to us, we keep the details you give us so we can deliver the software, support you and answer you.
- We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time: kade@amicity.com.
Who we are
Kade is made by Amiciti Solutions (Amiciti Solutions, Colombo, Sri Lanka). In this policy "we" and "us" mean Amiciti Solutions, "Kade" means the desktop software, and "the website" means kadeonline.com. We decide how the information described here is used, and we are responsible for it.
Your business data in Kade
Everything you type into Kade, such as sales, receipts, items, stock, customers, suppliers, prices, staff and accounts, is stored in a database on your own PCs. When you have more than one PC, they copy changes directly to each other. We have no copy of this data and no way to see it.
That makes you responsible for it: for keeping backups, for protecting the PCs, and, where the law asks it of a business, for how you handle your own customers' and staff's personal information.
When the Kade app goes online
Kade works fully offline. It only uses the internet for the things below, and each one sends only what is listed.
Licence activation
When you activate a licence over the internet, Kade sends your licence key, your business's random ID (made on your PC; it says nothing about you) and the number of PCs in use. We use these to check the key and to tie the licence to your business. You can also activate by file or phone code instead.
Updates
To check for and download updates, Kade fetches the release list and update files from our update server. Like any web request this reveals your IP address to our hosting provider; we don't keep a record of which business checked. Updates can also be installed from a file.
Diagnostics you choose to send
If you use Send diagnostics, Kade makes a file with recent logs, version numbers, basic facts about the PC and network, and database statistics (sizes and counts, not your records). Your database itself is included only if you tick the box for it. You can save the file and look at it first, or upload it to us. We use it only to solve the problem you asked about, and delete it once the problem is solved.
Syncing over the internet
If you turn on syncing between branches over the internet, your PCs connect to each other through relay servers. The traffic is encrypted end to end between your own PCs: relays can't read it, and we don't keep it.
Google Drive backups
You can choose to keep backups in your own Google Drive. When you connect it, you sign in with Google in your browser and allow Kade the drive.file permission. That permission only lets Kadesee and change the files and folders it created or that you picked for it; it cannot see the rest of your Drive.
- The sign-in token is stored in this PC's protected storage. It is not sent to us.
- Backup files go straight from your PC to your Drive. We never receive them.
- Kade uses its access only to upload, list, download and remove its own backups when you or your backup schedule ask it to.
- You can disconnect at any time in Kade, or remove Kade's access in your Google Account settings.
Kade's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't use it for advertising, we don't sell it, and no person at Amiciti Solutions reads it.
This website
Downloading
To download Kade we ask for your name and email, and optionally your business, country and phone. With them we record your IP address, the country our hosting provider guesses from it, your browser's description and the page you came from. We use these to send you the download link, to know who uses Kade, to help you set it up, and to stop abuse. If you tick the box, we also email you when a new version is out.
Contact form
When you send a request we keep what you typed (name, email, business details, country, WhatsApp number and message), with your IP address, its country and your browser's description, so that we can answer and follow up.
Bot checks
The download and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Turnstile collects technical information from your browser for that purpose only; seeCloudflare's Turnstile privacy addendum.
Cookies and analytics
The website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs to keep the site running and secure.
Buying a licence
Payments go through PayPal. We receive the payer's name and email, the amount, the PayPal transaction ID and what you typed on our buy form (your business name or licence ID). We use these to issue or renew your licence, email it to you, keep accounting records and handle refunds. We never see your card or bank details; PayPal handles them under its own privacy statement.
How we use what we keep
- To deliver Kade, issue and check licences, and provide updates (to perform our agreement with you).
- To answer you and provide support (because you asked us to).
- To keep payment and tax records (because the law requires it).
- To protect the website and our services from abuse, and to understand who uses Kade so we can improve it (our legitimate interests).
- To email you about new versions, only if you asked (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
We don't sell personal information, rent it out, or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Licence and payment records: for as long as the licence exists, and then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Download and contact form details: until 3 years after we last heard from you, then deleted.
- Diagnostics files: until the problem they were sent for is solved.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for something, and you can withdraw any consent you gave. To unsubscribe from new-version emails, reply to one or write to us. Emailkade@amicity.com; we answer within 30 days. We may need to keep payment records the law requires us to keep. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live; in Sri Lanka, that is the Data Protection Authority.
Security
Our servers are reached only over encrypted connections, and only we can sign in to the admin tools. Licences and updates are digitally signed, so Kade only accepts files we made. Inside Kade, sign-in, user permissions and backups are in your hands; please keep your PCs and backups protected.
Children
Kade is business software. It is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters to how we use information we already hold, we'll tell licence holders by email before it takes effect.
