The daily minimum wage has been raised for 2021 and 2022

The National Tripartite Committee (NTC) finalized deliberations on the national daily minimum wage for the next two years on Thursday, June 3.
The Committee, comprised of officials from the government, the Ghana Employers Association, and the Trades Union Congress (TUC), increased the 2021 minimum salary by 6% and the 2022 minimum pay by 8% over the 2021 number.

As a result, although the daily minimum wage in 2021 climbed from GHS11.82 to GHS12.53, the amount in 2022 will climb from GHS12.53 to GHS13.53.
