The CPP will win the 2024 elections, according to the General Secretary.

Nana Yaa Gyantua, the General Secretary of the Convention People’s Party (CPP), has stated that her party will form the next government in 2024 in order to change Ghana’s fate, which she says has been ruined by successive governments in the Fourth Republic.

She believes that the legacy of Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, will continue to be significant, and that this legacy will do well for the CPP in the 2024 general elections.

Nana Yaa Gyantuah, speaking on Onua FM’s Yensempa show on Monday, May 24, reported that the CPP is rebuilding in order to rally the party’s grassroots and youth for a landslide win in 2024.

She said that the CPP’s new leadership is rebranding and repackaging the party to the extent where the people would be enthralled and persuaded to vote massively for it in the general elections of 2024.
She said that engaging the youth, especially those in tertiary education, is crucial in the reorganization process, as is reconciling with dissatisfied party members in order to form a strong front to win the election.

The CPP General Secretary told host Kwame Tutu that Ghanaians have abandoned the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and that the CPP will form the next government by organizational hard work and divine intervention.

“Ghanaians are fed up with the NPP and the NDC, and it is time for us, the CPP, to seize the moment: the opportunity to unite, the opportunity to rebrand, and the opportunity to emerge.”

She stated that in 2024, the CPP would end the duopoly of the NPP and the NDC and form the next government to improve citizens’ living conditions, as expected by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Commenting on Ghana’s adversity, Nana Yaa Gyantuah chastised successive administrations, describing the representatives Ghana has chosen thus far in the Fourth Republic as visionless and inept in managing the country’s wealth.

She is especially enraged by the Nana Addo administration’s success, claiming that the majority of Ghanaians had hoped for and trusted President Nana Akufo-Addo, but that he has failed miserably.

She has also urged the general public to mobilize behind the CPP’s leadership and support the current reorganization process in order for the party to win the 2024 elections and build Ghana for all.
