Takoradi: A pregnant lady, 28, who had gone missing, has been found

The nine-month-pregnant woman who had been reported missing in Takoradi a few days ago has been located.

According to data obtained by 3news.com, Josephine Panyin Mensah, 28, was discovered in Axim.

She was sent to the Axim Government Hospital for medical treatment right away.

After a failed search the day before, Josephine’s husband, Michael Simmons, reported her missing on Friday, September 17.

She is said to have gone for a stroll at daybreak on Thursday but never returned.

The complainant, her husband, told police that his mother-in-law subsequently received a call demanding a ransom from an unknown individual, fueling rumors of another kidnapping case in the capital of the Western Region.

The cops were called right away.

Her brother-in-law told Paa Kwesi Simpson of Takoradi-based Connect FM that they received a call on Tuesday that she had been sighted in Axim and that they went to locate her alive.
Alex Essien explained that they went to her rescue without any police officers present, but that they afterwards notified them of the situation.
