Supporters assemble for NDC’s March for Justice

We’ve arrived at the Accra Mall, where the Youth Wing of Ghana’s main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is launching the much-anticipated street demonstration known as the “March For Justice.”

The demonstration will seek justice for those who have died as a consequence of “state-sponsored thuggery” in the hands of the police and military under the present regime, as the NDC puts it.

So far, only a few supporters have arrived at the rallying site, which will culminate in the presentation of two petitions to the President and subsequently the Speaker of Parliament.

Some of the posters taken from the grounds highlighted some of the victims of recent police-military brutalities, such as ‘Abdallah Ayaric deserved to live,’ and ‘#We are all Kaaka.’
