President Nana Akufo-Addo to address Ghanaians on coronavirus fight tonight

At 8 pm tonight, President Akufo-Addo will address the country on topics related to the handling of the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.

This will be his 21st national pandemic address since the first two cases were registered by Ghana in March 2020 and his first in 2021.

His last address was when Ghana had 946 active cases of the virus on November 20.

Despite the election season that saw campaign activities breaking procedures, President Akufo-Addo said there had been a change in Ghana’s situation.

Ghana has 55,064 known coronavirus cases, 901 new cases, 53,828 discharged sick individuals, and 335 known fatalities.
