Opoku Ware School Exclude Holy Child School & Wesley Girls High School

Opoku Ware School has removed Holy Child School and Wesley Girls ‘ High School to be part of the NSMQ 2020 Semifinal Round.

Holy Child School began the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm, but Opoku Ware School gained momentum at the end of the first round. They replied correctly three of their main questions in a row, which left them leading the party with a six-point advantage at the end of the round.

In the second round, the Opoku Ware School seemed quicker than its contenders and finished the pace round still in the lead.

Wesley Girls ‘ High School has missed the Prudential Life NSMQ Star award by one point. They scored nine points in Day Question, while Opoku Ware School and Holy Child School scored seven and six points.

Opoku Ware School further narrowed the gap in the fourth round by correctly answering all their True / False claims. Holy Child School tried its hardest to send them a hot chase in the fifth round, unfortunately, it was too late to catch up. They answered two of the riddles correctly, but they couldn’t gain enough points to win the race.

All three schools won the Absa Money Zone award – an award that transfers school grades from the Quarterfinal Stage onwards during the competition. At the Quarterfinal point, grades are multiplied by 10.00 GH, which means that the three contestants and the Wesley Girls High School teacher won a cash reward of 370.00 GH each to complete the competition. To finish with 40 points, the Holy Child School received a GH reward of 400.00, while the Opoku Ware School received a cash reward of 490.00 for each of the three contestants and their coach.
