The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Samuel Gyamfi, has descended heavily on the Minority Members of Parliament.
In a post written on his Facebook timeline, the firebrand communicator accused the NDC Members of Parliament as having sold their consciences.
“They are few, we are many. Some have sold their conscience but ours is intact. And we, can work together to rebuild the party from the ashes of 3rd March, 2021, which I call “Black Wednesday ”- Our day of self-inflicted shame” Sammy Gyamfi stated.
Sammy Gyamfi wrote this on the back of what he terms as the failure of the Minority Caucus to vote against some three nominees of President Akufo-Addo for ministerial positions.
Contrary to the expectations of Mr. Gyamfi, MPs from the side of the National Democratic Congress joined hands in approving Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, Owusu Afriyie Akoto and Mavis Hawa Koomson.
This development, Sammy Gyamfi avers, constitutes a betrayal by the leadership of the party in Parliament.
The National Communications Officer urged his party members to speak up against the leadership of the party in Parliament and not to act like hypocrites as he insists, they all have stakes in the party.
