Kwaebibirem Rural Bank helps farmers with tricycles

In the Kwaebibirem district, the Kwaebibirem Rural Bank presented 12 Luojia Tricycle Motors to farmers as loans to support their productivity in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Introducing the tricycles to the bank’s clients, General Manager Michael Agyeibi Agyekum said this would assist farmers to sell their farm goods.

The General Manager explained, in addition to shipping agricultural produce, that the bank is seeking to generate jobs for young people in its operating areas.

Nana Emmanuel Tei, speaking on behalf of the receiver customers of the bank, expressed appreciation and gratitude to Kwaebibirem Rural Bank for helping to relieve the pressure of the farmer, in particular by transferring palm fruit, maize, and cocoa to the purchasing centers.

Emmanuel Tei assured the bank, on behalf of the farmers, that they would work hard to pay for any tricycle loans.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the Board, Carlos Ahenkorah, whose tricycle loans project is being initiated by the bank, Ernest Ampofo, the Director of the Bank, shared the increasing demand for tricycles and assured customers that the bank will continue to provide them with such goods.

He urged clients to purchase more of the bank’s shares to make the bank do more for them.
