Elections request: Kojo Oppong Nkrumah selected one of Akufo-Addo’s five legal team spokespersons

The Minister of Media and Ofoase Ayirebi Senator, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, is chosen as one of the President’s spokespersons by J. Dramani Mahama in the run-up to the Supreme Court hearing of his appeal to the Supreme Court.

Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Henry Nana Boakye and Fati Abubakar and Nana Adjoa Adobea Asante were also chosen by the other speakers.

The President, Dr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has filed a reaction to the 2020 Presidential Election Petition launched by Dr. John Dramani Mahama, a candidate for this election through his attorneys, which was signed by Frank Davies Head, Legal Officer.

“In his reply, President Akufo-Addo gave the court pleadings which showed the lack of material substance to Mr. Mahama’s petition. The President has invited the Supreme Court to conclude that the petition “is incompetent, frivolous and vexatious, does not meet the threshold of appeal and should therefore be dismissed”

The president’s team has named the following people to be involved in the media: Kojo Oppong Nkrumah Esq — MP, Fati Abubakar — Deputy Publicity Officer, President, Mr. Nana Adjoa Adobea Asante — Legal Committee Member, NPP, Yaw Buaben Assamoa, Henry Nana Boakye National Youth Coordinator, NPP, Fati AbubaKar.

In response to his appeal, Mr Mahama was demanding a re-run from the polls in 2020 but the President urged the Supreme Court to refuse the election.
