Caleb Kudah of Citi FM/TV has been detained by National Security for questioning.

Caleb Kudah, a journalist with Citi TV and Citi FM, was reportedly detained by police officers on Tuesday, May 11 for allegedly filming at the National Security Ministry’s premises.
According to a post on citinewsroom, about seven heavily armed police officers raided the Citi FM/Citi TV offices in an effort to apprehend Zoe Abu-Baidoo, another broadcast journalist, who they said had obtained files from Caleb Kudah.

Citi FM/Citi TV management is said to have interfered and accompanied the police, along with Zoe, to the Ministry of National Security for questioning, following which she was released.

Caleb, on the other hand, was also being detained at National Security for further questioning.
Caleb Kudah will be released shortly, according to the details we have,” a reporter at the National Security said.

Meanwhile, Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, the Head of Citi Sports, characterized the earlier arrest of Zoe on the premises of Citi TV/FM as “scary.”

“…in Rambo form, seven powerful men wielding assault rifles chased Zoe from the car park into the kitchen. Did you have to chase Zoe like a robber if you really wanted to apprehend her? Imagine the trauma of 7 men chasing this girl. No appreciation for the station’s owners, no words for others, and they simply begin chasing people around their workplace. And what exactly is her transgression? Caleb shared a video with her. That’s why the cops behaved the way they did. Is this really risk-free? He wrote on Facebook, “The whole team are terrified to death…”
