At Coronation Junction in Cape Coast, the Central Region, a man in his 60s was shot in the leg by armed robbers on two motorcycles.
The four guys – two on each motorcycle – are alleged to have followed the man from a bank to a hardware store, where he was going to buy some construction goods.
The motorbike riders showed no evidence of perpetrating the terrible act, according to eyewitnesses, as two of them alighted to follow the victim into the hardware store.
He’d parked his automobile just outside the business.
After firing bullets, the accused thieves fled with an undisclosed sum of money.
Since then, police have been called to the site, and the victim is claimed to have been transported to Cape Coast’s Ewim Polyclinic.
According to the Ghana Police Service’s Central Regional Police Command, investigations into the event have already commenced.
