The compulsory Ghana Teacher Licensure Test arranged by the National Teaching Council has failed over eight thousand, four hundred and forty-two teachers.
This figure constitutes 30.75 percent of the estimated 27,455 candidates who sat for the exams.
According to a press release released by the Council and reported by JoyNews, some 19,013 applicants have passed the tests, representing 69.3% of the overall candidates.
“Results have been withheld from some candidates pending investigation,” the statement said.
Once again, the National Teaching Council has disclosed that the findings of the October 2020 examinations will be reported on Tuesday, 5 January 2021.
The Council’s results can be viewed on the NTC online portal via exam.ntc.gov.GH.

Furthermore, the Council urged both applicants to print their respective temporary certificates.
